Prep hoops: Richmond Hill girls, Bryan County boys get big wins
Wildcats, Lady Redskins suffer narrow losses

Aliyah Johnson scored 32 points to lead the Richmond Hill High School girls' basketball team to its 17th straight win Tuesday, a 72-33 blistering of visiting Ware County.
Johnson added 12 rebounds and Charmia Graham chipped in 12 points for the Lady Wildcats, who improved to 20-1 overall and 8-0 in Region 2A-AAAA.
In the boys' contest, Alex Cruz scored 14 points and Kody Morales added nine for the Wildcats, who fell 47-45 to Ware County in a nailbiter.
The loss dropped the Wildcats to 13-8 and 3-5 in the subregion.

BCHS boys get win
Bryan County High School knocked off Region 3A-A foe Savannah Country Day on Tuesday in Pembroke, beating the Hornets 58-42.
Three players scored in double figures for the Redskins, who picked up their fourth win of the season. Akaya Johnson led the team with 18 points while Jaylan Rawls and Mychael Smith added 15 and 13 points, respectively.
The Lady Redskins fell 42-41 in the girls' contest.
