During the last several weeks we have seen extremes concerning the weather. We had really cold temperatures with snow and ice followed by record high temperatures.

This week we have returned to really cold nights followed by a forecast of above normal temperatures. Weather is so inconsistent and unpredictable. God is not inconsistent nor is He unpredictable. Hebrews 13:8 reminds us that “Jesus Christ (God in human form) is the same yesterday and today and forever”. This tells us that the character and nature of God are unchanging throughout time. This is also revealing to us that God is constant and reliable and faithful and will always be so as we daily trust in Him.

So, for us who put our faith in Him, God will always show His love and care for us and will be a God of mercy and grace.
