July 23: Man reports that his cellphone was stolen; he took a Lyft ride from the Love’s truckstop on Dean Forest Road in Garden City, Georgia and left his cell phone in the vehicle. He stated that over the next few hours, he attempted to contact Lyft and the driver but was not able to reach them. He stated that the cell phone was last pinging at the Love’s truckstop where he was picked up. He stated that he contacted the Love’s truckstop and they did not have his cell phone.
July 23: Man reports fraudulent charges on his credit card, after reporting it stolen on July 19th. Three of the charges occurred at the Shell gas station located at 22 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive. He further advised that since Sunday, July 19th, 2026, a total of $729.80 has been fraudulently charged to his credit card.
July 23: An officer from the Pembroke Police Department reported that a truck from the Forestry Commission struck a manhole, which damaged the truck.
July 23: At Hendrix Park, a Bryan County maintenance worker stated that a water pump shed in front of the football field had been broken into. The deputy observed that the door latch was sheared off at the hinges and noted multiple footprints on the door. The outline of the footprints indicated that the individual who kicked the door open was not wearing shoes. The worker confirmed that nothing else was stolen or damaged.
July 23: While on assigned patrol, a deputy responded to a call for service in reference to a subject attacking another subject with a knife.
July 26: Deputies report to a residence regarding a domestic between a juvenile and her guardian. The temporary guardian stated the juvenile put her hand in his face and pushed him away. He stated the juvenile had been on her tablet for approximately an hour talking with family and then it was time to put the tablet down. He then stated the juvenile did not listen and continued to use the tablet and told her a second time to put the tablet down. He stated after the juvenile refused to put the tablet down a second time, he shut the internet off. The man stated after he turned the internet off, he attempted to pull the tablet out of her hand but the juvenile pulled away the tablet and started cussing at him. Deputies made contact with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) and informed them of the situation. An extensive history with the juvenile exists, according to the agency.
July 26: Warrant executed for a man wanted out of Wayne County for aggravated stalking. The deputy sent him to Bryan County Jail for further processing.
July 27: Man reports damage to his property; he observed damage to the right front bumper of his 2025 Toyota Tundra. He does not know where, or when, the damage occurred to his vehicle.
July 27: Deputies respond to a residence to conduct a Writ of Possession. A man explains that there had been a trailer on the property, as well as a large animal crate, both of which are no longer there. He requested that the items be returned because they did not belong to the woman in question. He estimated the value of the animal crate at $300 and the trailer at $500. She stated that she had loaned the items to him and was expecting him to return them. However, she advised that she had been unable to contact him since loaning him the items.
July 27: Woman reports that while she was driving on Interstate 95, her husband started an argument with her and grabbed her arm. She then said her husband punched the vehicle’s touch screen in the center console and broke it, causing digital lines in the screen and buttons on the touch screen not working. The couple are in the midst of getting a divorce.
July 27: In the area of GA-204 near US-280, a driver of a white Nissan truck was passed out in the front seat. The driver was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Improper Parking.
July 28: Woman reports that she noticed a scratch on her side car door as she headed out on her lunch break. She stated that after observing the damage, she went back inside and reviewed security footage of the Hyundai Glovis parking lot. She observed two different cars parked next to her vehicle but could not determine if either one caused the damage.
