Ft. Stewart gears up for Fall Fest
Carnival open to public Thursday-Sunday

A four-day carnival, part of Fall Fest at Fort Stewart, is coming to Donovan Field Thursday-Sunday.

Open gate access on carnival dates will be available through Gate 3 off Old Sunbury Road. The public welcome and there is no charge to enter the carnival. No outside coolers or food will be permitted.

The carnival will run from: 5-10 p.m.

•             5-10 p.m. Thursday.

•             5 p.m.-midnight Friday. Dance music begins at 8 p.m. in the Fest Tent, and there will be beer and drink specials.

•             Noon-midnight Saturday. Vendor Village from noon-7 p.m.; dance music begins 8 p.m. in Fest Tent with beer and drink specials.

•             1-7 p.m. Sunday is Family Day ($20 arm bands). 

The Modern Midways Carnival will feature more than 20 adult and kiddie rides, including Arctic Blast, Vertigo, Giant Wheel, Wind Glider, Rock Star, Tea Cups, Zipper, Tilt-A-Whirl and Yo-Yo.

Food and games at the carnival will be individually priced.   

Ticket prices are $1 per ticket; $15 for 18 tickets; $25 for 30 tickets; or $25 all you can ride, except Sunday when arm bands are $20.

Vendors in the Stewart/Hunter area are invited to be part of the Vendor Village planned at Donovan Field during the Fall Fest celebration. For information about participating as a vendor, call 912-767-6212.
