The city of Richmond Hill on April 16 honored local young artists and writers who participated in the annual Georgia Cities Week art and essay contests.
Students who participated in the essay contest wrote about what they would do if they were mayor for a day. First place went to Heather Clifford, followed by Mollie Connor in second and David Stem in third.
The art contest depicted various images of life in Richmond Hill. John Kramer took first place, while Daliya Holiday took second and Jade Chan placed third.
