Parkers hires new fuel director

SAVANNAH  — Parker’s recently hired Jeff Bush of Hinesville as director of fuel services.  
Bush is responsible for overseeing fuel logistics, pricing strategies, supply costs and supplier negotiations. He previously served as business manager for Armstrong Atlantic State University’s newspaper, The Inkwell, and is a decorated military veteran.
Originally from Delaware, Bush joined the U.S. Army as a forward observer. He rose to the rank of staff sergeant, earning the Combat Action Badge, Iraqi Campaign Medal and 14 other awards and medals. During his tenure in the Army, he was selected as the Fort. Stewart NCO of the Year and received the Maj. Gen. Aubrey Newman Award for leadership excellence.
“Jeff’s military background, commitment to excellence and attention to detail make him an excellent addition to the Parker’s team,” Parker’s President and CEO Greg Parker said. “I met him when I spoke to students at Armstrong Atlantic State University last year and was immediately impressed by his enthusiasm.”
Bush is completing a Bachelor’s of Arts in economics at AASU.
