Lunch and Learn is Tuesday

The Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce will host a Lunch & Learn from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Richmond Hill High School to educate the local business community about the school’s work-based learning program.
According to program coordinator Lori Davis, work-based learning experiences can help a student make career decisions, network with potential employers, select courses of study and develop job skills relevant to future employment.
Through the interaction of work and study experiences, students can enhance their academic knowledge, personal development and professional preparation.
Work-based learning pairs real-world experiences that connect the student’s career goal and classroom learning with a productive work environment.
The program offers employers a source of skilled and motivated workers and creates opportunity to prepare and train future employees.
There is no cost to attend the Lunch & Learn session, but reservations are required by Monday. RSVP by calling the chamber at 912-756-3444 or emailing info@RHBCchamber.org.
