Bryan County Emergency Services Firefighter/EMT Sarah Simon , right, has been named the Employee of the Quarter for the 2nd Quarter of 2020.

 She serves with C South Battalion, Station 2. 

Simon was nominated for saving a choking co-worker.

 Bryan County EMS Director Freddy Howell, seen on left, said Simon “is an enthusiastic, dedicated employee and continuously trains to improve her skills.”

 Howell said Simon is a K-9 handler and works with her dog Jasper on search and rescue.

 “Sarah and Jasper spend long hours training in all kinds of weather conditions and terrain,” Howell added. “Firefighter/EMT Sarah Simon is a definite asset to BCES and we congratulate her on a job well done.”
