Connect Savannah app shows events in Hostess City

SAV HAPPS is available for both Apple and Android devices at iTunes and GooglePlay, respectively.

SAVANNAH — Connect Savannah, an arts and entertainment publication in Savannah, recently launched SAV HAPPS, a mobile entertainment app showcasing events in the Hostess City.

The custom-branded app is provided by mobile app development company saambaa of San Diego, Calif.

Since its mid-February launch, SAV HAPPS has been downloaded and installed on more than 1,000 mobile devices.

The new app is available on iTunes for Apple devices and Google Play for Android devices.

Saambaa has partnered with a number of alternative-weekly publications with the platform, including Tucson Weekly, Pittsburgh City Paper and Jackson Free Press. SAV HAPPS allows users to share listings with friends using text messages, emails and push notifications.

Connect Savannah is an alternative voice in a city that ranks as one of the Southeast's most sought after places to live and visit. Published each Wednesday and distributed free throughout greater Savannah, it covers local arts and entertainment, news and issues, social and political commentary and extensive event listings to more than 100,000 print and online readers.
