Day trip to Ossabaw on Sunday

An Ossabaw Island day trip is planned for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. May 4.
Participants will travel by pontoon boat from Skidaway Island across Ossabaw Sound to Bradley Beach on Ossabaw, then go ashore to spend time wandering the beach. After reboarding, participants will travel to the island’s North End for an interpretive tour that includes ecology and history. After more time to wander the North End, participants will return to the mainland.
Cost is $55 per person for Friends of Ossabaw and $75 for the general public and includes a “Friends of Ossabaw” membership.
Reservations and prepayment required. No onsite registrations will be allowed. Online registration is preferred via www.ossabawisland.net.  
Participants should bring their own lunch and water/beverages. The trip will occur rain or shine, unless canceled by the boat captain due to weather advisory. Minors must be accompanied by supervising adult.
