July 19-28: 58th Beaufort Water Festival — The annual celebration of Southern summer traditions, returns to the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in Beaufort, S.C.  The festival kicks off with opening ceremonies featuring the Parris Island Marine Band and a fireworks show at dusk by Southeastern Pyrotechnics and the rest of the weekend is filled with fishing, Dragon Boat racing and athletic tournaments. Savannah Derby Devils Roller Derby — Savannah’s own hit the rink to face off against the Lowcountry Highrollers. The evening begins with a bout featuring the Hostess City Hellions at 5 p.m. with the Derby Devils themselves taking the stage at 7 p.m.  Ticket prices range from $2-$9.50. Artist round table event — The Hinesville Area Arts Council Gallery at 102 Commerce St. would like to showcase local works from artists living in the Coastal Empire.
