The Green Thumb Kids planting booth will return to the Richmond Hill Farmers Market from 3-7 p.m.  Sept. 24 in J. F. Gregory Park.
Green Thumb Kids, put on by the Richmond Hill Garden Club, is a free event designed to help children develop a love, respect and understanding of how nature works by gardening.
There also will be a free “floating pumpkin” game for children to try out at the Sept. 24 event.
The club meets at 10 a.m. each second Wednesday from September through May at the Wetlands Center in J. F. Gregory Park.
