Bryan County Elementary School students who exemplify TRIBE behavior were recognized recently as part of the school’s PBIS (positive behavior intervention strategies) expectations.

TRIBE stands for trustworthy, respectful, independent, balanced and encouraging. Students were selected from each classroom at the end of the first marking period to display the letters in the attached picture based on which letter-based behavior they were chosen for. Students also received a certificate.

PBIS is a schoolwide program designed to award students for positive behavior, according to Principal Jeff Hodges.
