Georgia College has awarded degrees to the following Bryan County graduates of the class of December 2017:

Georgia College honors
The following students from Bryan County completed courses with exemplary marks and made the dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester at Georgia College in Milledgeville:
Richmond Hill: Veronica Cox, Catherine Petrino, John Daniel, Tiffany Bentley, Justine Kaasch, Kevin Olson, Dawson Shores, Hannah Conner, Zoe Mabrey and Caroline Smith

President’s list
Brianna Wathen and Anna Petrino, both of Richmond Hill, completed courses with exemplary marks and made the 2017 fall president’s list at Georgia College in Milledgeville.
Husson University
Faith Nicole Burnett of Ellabell has been named to the Dean’s List at Husson University in Bangor, Maine, for the Fall 2017 semester.
Burnett is a senior who is currently enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in biology program.
Students who make the Dean’s List must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of between 3.60 to 3.79 during the period.
Georgia Southwestern
Thomas Marciniak, a resident of Richmond Hill, made the Fall 2017 Academic Achievement List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 600 students recognized for scholastic achievement.
To be eligible for the Academic Achievement List, a student must previously earn at least 12 credit hours at GSW, be enrolled in 3 to 11 hours of courses, and earn a 3.5 or higher GPA.
Troy University graduate
Madison Dowdell of Richmond Hill graduated from Troy University during the Fall Semester/Term 2 of the 2017/2018 academic year.
Dowdell attended the Troy Campus and graduated with the Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
Troy University honors
The following students at Troy University have been named to the Provost’s List for the Fall Semester and Term 2 of the 2017/2018 academic year:
Mary Blue, Christina Wilson and Madison Dowdell, all of Richmond Hill.
Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualify for the Provost’s List.
