Columbia College: The following students from Richmond Hill were named to the Columbia College dean’s list for the June to July 2012 award period: David G Goodell at the Fort Stewart Campus; Anthony Kempson at the Fort Stewart Campus; and Matthew D Thomas at the Hunter Army Airfield Campus.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must have completed 12 semester hours in a 16-week period and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a four-point scale.

Georgia Tech: Tami King of Richmond Hill recently earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial design from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

King was among about 850 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech’s 243rd commencement exercises.
