I-95 resurfacing starts tonight
GDOTseal

The $8.7 million resurfacing project of Interstate 95 beginning south of the U.S. 17/Richmond Hill (Exit 87) interchange in Bryan County and extending south of the U.S. 17/South Newport (Exit 67) interchange in Liberty County will begin tonight and continue through December.

American Industries Inc. will begin milling and resurfacing within two mile-long lane closures on the 20-mile project limits. General nighttime work hours are 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. All work is weather contingent.

Single and double lane closures should be expected nightly while paving activities are underway. Periodic ramp closures will be utilized for the scope of work required on entrance and exit ramps.

Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; read signs; and expect the unexpected.

Residents should monitor 511ga.org or download the App to stay current on all upcoming lane closures.
