An evening of local art and music planned

Richmond Hill City Center is welcoming the quarterly ArtNite exhibit from Arts on the Coast with an opening reception from 5:30-8 p.m. on Friday, June 26. ArtNite is a free event and open to the public.

Each ArtNite has its own specific theme. This quarter’s theme is Majestic. Through each artists’ interpretation of the word, they will create up to three pieces that represent what majestic means to them and their life, whether that is power, greatness, beauty or something else completely. There will be live music with local artist Michael McCormick playing acoustic guitar and singing classics attendees know and originals they'll love.

“The City Center is excited to host this quarter's ArtNite. The guests at our venue enjoy seeing the individual artists' outlook of the quarterly themes,” said April Cameron, general manager of Richmond Hill City Center. “The continually changing artwork keeps the City Center's aesthetic fresh and unique to each event.”

Featuring live music, light food and drinks, and an environment focused on community, attendees can enjoy the works of local artists and purchase original art and prints. With different art styles and mediums represented in the exhibition, each ArtNite is unique and offers an exciting experience for attendees and artists.

“ArtNite is such an important artistic event, and I am so grateful to be a part of it,” said local artist and Arts on the Coast Board member, Heather Young. “Any type of art can be submitted, which means artists and viewers alike can learn more about so many different art styles.”

Majestic will be on display at the City Center through September 14, 2026. The community is invited to view the artwork during the City Center's business hours of 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
