PHOENIX A mother whose infant son died heard his heartbeat for the first time in almost three years.

Lukas Clark was only 7 months old when he died in June 2013, CNN reported. His mom, Heather Clark, decided to donate his organs to help other kids who were in need. Her decision helped save three lives, including 18-month-old Jordan Drake, who received Lukas heart. Jordans mom Esther Gonzalez contacted Clark in December to see if they could set up a time to meet.

Donate Life Arizona arranged for the two mothers to meet on Jan. 29 at the Phoenix Childrens Hospital. The moving moment was captured on video.

Im just excited. I get to hear his heart beat again, Clark told Donate Life Arizona while holding back tears. Its really all I can think about.

Gonzalez and Clark shared a heartfelt hug before Clark kneeled down by Jordan. She then held a stethoscope up to 4-year-old Jordans heart and heard Lukas heart beating in her chest.

Its so strong, Clark said amidst more tears.

Donate Life Arizona media relations coordinator Jacqueline Keidel told CBS News it was "the happiest day of (Clarks) life since her son was born.

Gonzalez told KSAZ News this wont be the last time they see Clark.

"We're family now, we're friends now, our families are families, Gonzalez said. We've brought our families together."
