Living a life of peace doesn’t come naturally because there are so many things that can trouble us or make us afraid. There is the uncertain economy, future health issues, relationship issues and the threat of war, just to name a few of the major problems people face.

There is a way to live a life of peace each day. Peace is offered to us when we choose to become a follower of Jesus Christ. Jesus tells us in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid”.

Having peace about something doesn’t mean a lack of acknowledgement that these issues exist, but that we know that our God is in control, and He will help us through them. Also, even if the result of what we have to go through ends in death, those of us who possess peace still win. We have the assurance hat we will spend eternity in this place called heaven. The good news is that if you don’t have this peace, you can. It is offered to anyone and everyone who will invite Jesus Christ into your life.
