SouthCoast Health will be offering student athletes a Sports Physical Clinic from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, June 27 at the SouthCoast Health Pediatrics location in Richmond Hill (89 Interchange Drive, Suite B, Richmond Hill.)

The cost for each physical is $30, and a parent or guardian must accompany the patient.

“As a patient-centered practice, we strive to provide as many opportunities as possible for those we care for to get the services they need,” says SouthCoast Health CEO John Marrero. “The upcoming school year can easily sneak up on families, and our Sports Physical Clinic is a great chance for parents and students to check an important item off their summer to-do list.”

Both new and current SouthCoast Health patients who are unable to attend the SouthCoast Health Sports Physical Clinic still have time to schedule a sports physical. Sports physicals can often be included in a child’s annual well-child visit, which is typically 100% covered by insurance. When experiencing a well-child visit, patients can request a sports clearance at that time.   

Pediatricians at SouthCoast Health provide care to children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents to young adults as old as 21. In addition to physicals and well-child visits, the SouthCoast Health Pediatrics office offers patient education, screenings, tests, and more.
