The community is invited to put on their tropical attire and prepare for an evening of fun, fellowship, and purpose as Lotus of Love Cancer Care, Inc. hosts its 2nd Annual Dance Fundraiser on Friday, June 5, from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. at The Wetlands Center in Richmond Hill.

This year’s theme, “Let’s Dance Hawaiian Style,” promises an unforgettable night filled with music, food, games, prizes, dancing, and community support—all while raising awareness and assistance for individuals and families affected by cancer. Music for the evening will be provided by DJ Wiggles, and guests can also enjoy a silent auction and exciting prize giveaways throughout the night.

Founded by Dr. Johnnie Quiller, Lotus of Love Cancer Care, Inc. was created to provide spiritual, emotional, and practical support to cancer survivors and those currently battling cancer. Inspired by her own cancer journey, Dr. Quiller has dedicated the organization to “Sustaining Hope, One Smile at a Time.” Through support groups, care packages, educational workshops, transportation assistance, and community outreach, the nonprofit continues to make a positive impact in our community.

“This fundraiser is more than just a dance,” said Dr. Quiller. “It’s an opportunity for the community to come together in love, encouragement, and hope while supporting those navigating one of life’s toughest battles.”

Tickets are $50 and may be purchased online at
