School supply drive underway in Bryan County
School supplies

United Way of the Coastal Empire announces its annual School Supply Drive, aimed at providing essential educational materials to students in need within Bryan County. The drive, in partnership with Bryan County Family Connection, will run through July 28 and will be held at multiple convenient locations.

Items needed include, but are not limited to the following items:

1. #2 pencils

2. 3-Ring Binder soft pencil/pen case

3. Erasers

4. Composition notebooks

5. Highlighters

6. Crayons

7. Wide-Ruled Notebook Paper

8. Scissors

9. Glue Sticks

10. Expo Dry Erase Markers

11. Tissue 

To participate, please visit one of the following drop-off locations during normal business hours, unless otherwise noted:

1. Jacob Grant Community Center, 12800 GA-144, Richmond Hill

2. Richmond Hill Farmers’ Market, 3 to 6 p.m. Saturdays in July

3. BCFC/United Way Building, 40 S. Industrial Boulevard, Pembroke 

Backpacks will be distributed on Thursday, July 20 during the Back to School Bash/National Night Out at Bryan County Elementary School 250 Payne - Pembroke from 6 to 8 p.m. as well as Friday July 28 from 3 to 6 p.m. and Friday August 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jacob Grant Community Center 185 Ball Park Rd. – Richmond Hill.
