The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill received a special award last week. Alex Tucker, president of the club, was presented with a banner to commemorate the club becoming a 100 percent Paul Harris Fellow member. 

Regional Rotary District Governor, Steve Barnes, visited the club to make the presentation and commend the club on achieving this significant milestone. 

 The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute or who have contributions made in their name of $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. 

 This non-profit corporation works to achieve world understanding and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty.
