American Legion Post 164 members Drew Barnes, Greg Aksdal and Nani Miller (L-R) at an Operation Fill The Trailer donation drive Saturday in downtown Pembroke. Post 164 is soliciting donations of various items to go to the Augusta VA Fisher House, which is the Augusta VA Hospital’s version of a Ronald McDonald House. 

Members of the post will be back out in downtown Pembroke at the Highway 280 parking lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 4. 

Items needed include laundry detergent, disinfectant spray, trash bags, mold bathroom spray, foam or paper cups, bottled water, paper plates and potato chip snacks.
