Human remains found at Kings Ferry Park

SAVANNAH -- Police here are investigating after human remains were found in a west Chatham County park Friday morning.

A fisherman reported finding the remains around 11 a.m. near Kings Ferry Park -- just across the Ogeechee River from Bryan County along Highway 17, according to Julian Miller, spokesperson for the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police.

No other information was available.
