If you're looking for a job in Bryan County, two companies are hiring.

A previously scheduled hiring event with Bryan County industries Spreetail and AGCO has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Oct. 16 These companies are the newest additions to Bryan County’s industry base and will co-host a hiring event at Spreetail’s e-commerce fulfillment center in the Interstate Centre II industrial park in Ellabell.  Spreetail, an e-commerce company based in Lincoln, Neb., will be hiring inventory managers, receiving managers, and fulfillment team members to work in their Bryan County fulfillment center.

 

“We are very excited to partner with the workforce development resources in the area to meet our hiring needs,” said Spreetail Recruiter Taylor Miller.  “Our facility employment has been growing rapidly since we opened our Bryan County fulfillment center earlier this year, and we are looking forward to continuing to grow here for many years to come.”

 

AGCO, a farm machinery equipment manufacturer based in Duluth, Ga., will also be hiring for several positions at the event.  AGCO’s open positions include assembly personnel, material handlers, assembly lead, shipping & receiving lead, and a re-work technician.  These positions will be located at AGCO’s new Bryan County location, which is where the company will assemble Massey Ferguson tractors.  The new facility is currently under construction in the Interstate Centre industrial park in Ellabell.

 

“AGCO is excited to be taking the next step in getting our new Savannah Assembly Center up and running. We look forward to the hiring event the Development Authority of Bryan County is hosting, along with their regional partners, for us and meeting our new neighbors,” said David Rubin, AGCO Manager, North America Assembly Centers.

 

The hiring event is being coordinated with the help of several organizations including WorkSource Coastal, the Georgia Department of Labor, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Ft. Stewart Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program, and the Development Authority of Bryan County (DABC).  As mentioned previously the event has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 16th and will be located at 1119 Interstate Centre Blvd., Ellabell, Ga. 31308.  The event will run from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., and participants will have an opportunity to learn more about each company and apply in-person for open positions.  Starting pay at both companies is over $16 per hour.
