Tim Carter and Jessica Deloach of Bloomingdale, GA and Sheila Carter of Ellabell, GA are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Tara Carter to Thomas Floyd, son of Bob and Debbie Floyd of Pembroke, GA.

Tara is the granddaughter of James Altman and the late Rosie Altman and Dexter and Dottie Shearouse, and also the late Homer Carter and the late Margie Foskey.

The bride-elect is the administrative assistant to the Solicitor General of Bryan County, GA.

Thomas is the grandson of the late Colen Floyd of Pembroke and Rose Mock of Black Creek and also Tommy Flanigan and the late Ann Flanigan of Claxton.

The groom-elect is employed by Bryan County and is self-employed with Floyd Farms.

This day of celebration is planned for Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.

These vows will be exchanged at the Floyd Family pond house. The families ask for the prayers of all in blessing the new couple and for the mighty hand of God to hold all those in attendance.
