The Claxton Bank is participating in the national “Lights, Camera, Save!” video contest to encourage saving and using money wisely.

To participate, students ages 13-18 can go to www.theclaxtonbank.com for an entry form and contest details from Nov. 1-30.

The Claxton Bank will host the first round of judging and will submit one winning video to compete on the national level. Students can win up to $3,000 to fund their savings goal, plus $1,500 for their school.

The contest is a part of the “Teach Children to Save” campaign, a national movement of volunteer bankers who guide young people towards lifelong savings habits. Since 1997, the campaign has reached some 5 million young people with the help of more than 100,000 banker volunteers.
