Richmond Hill Independence Day Celebration to be held Saturday

Richmond Hill -- The City of Richmond Hill will host its annual Independence Day Celebration this Saturday, June 27th.

The festivities will begin at 4 pm at J.F. Gregory Park, located at 521 Cedar Street. The event will feature live entertainment, inflatables, vendors, food trucks, mechanical rides, and a classic car show. The Swingin’ Medallions, known as “The Party Band of the South,” will take the stage at 6 pm. The evening will conclude with a fireworks show at sundown.

This free community event is open to the public. The City of Richmond Hill thanks event sponsors HIS Radio, StoryOak Media, and EOM for their generous support of the 2026 Independence Day Celebration.

Limited parking, including accessible parking, will be available on-site. Overflow parking will be located at Richmond Hill Elementary, Richmond Hill Primary and Carver Elementary.

We do not recommend bringing pets to this event. For their safety, it is best to leave pets at home. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, and coolers. Alcohol, glass bottles, grilling, and personal fireworks are prohibited.

Inflatables and train rides will be available for children at no cost. Attendees are encouraged to bring towels and a change of clothes for the water slides. Tickets for the mechanical rides will be available for purchase during the event.
