Catherine Corish and David Grant

Mr. and Mrs. Shelton Palmer Sanford, II and Mr. and Mrs. Julian Francis Corish, Jr. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Catherine Anglin Corish of Savannah, Ga., to Mr. David Scott Grant of Richmond Hill, Ga.

Miss Corish is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas Bryson Gilbert, the late Thomas Bryson Gilbert and Jane Joyce Gilbert, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Julian Francis Corish, all of Savannah.

She is a graduate of Saint Andrews on the Marsh, attended Armstrong Atlantic State University majoring in biology and chemistry, and is a graduate of South University with a bachelor of science in physician assistant studies. Miss Corish is currently pursuing a master of science in physician assistant studies from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is also practicing at The Spine Institute at Southeastern Orthopedic Center as a physician assistant, as well as on the faculty of South University’s physician assistant program.

Mr. Grant is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richard Grant of Richmond Hill. He is the grandson of Mrs. Rozelle Pleas and the late Alex Morris Pleas, Sr. of Chipley, Fla., Dr. and Mrs. Wesley Grace of Port St. Joe, Fla., and the late Charles Huey Grant of Chipley.

Mr. Grant is a graduate of Richmond Hill High School and of Georgia Southern University, with a bachelor of science degree in building construction and contracting, with a minor in business. He is president and co-founder of Grant Homes, Inc., specializing in custom home construction.

A fall wedding is planned.
