Fall exhibit
Arts on the Coast Association will present the annual Fall Art Exhibit through Saturday at the Richmond Hill City Center in J.F. Gregory Park.
Works from Arts on the Coast members will be available for viewing daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and an artist reception will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
This event will be sponsored by Merrill Lynch and is free to the public. 

Boat parade
The annual Christmas on the Ogeechee Boat Parade will light the night sky with illuminated boats and a spectacular fireworks display beginning around 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fort McAllister pier. The boat parade will run from the pier to the last house on the point.
The event is hosted by the Offshore Outlaws Fishing Club and will feature live music and food.

Advent day
Spirit of Peace Lutheran Church will hold an Advent Family Fun Day from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church at 15985 Hwy. 144 in Richmond Hill.

Hospital donations
Help bring a little holiday cheer to patients at Georgia Regional Hospital in Savannah by donating personal care items, new clothing and miscellaneous gifts as part of the 2011 Mayors’ Christmas Motorcade.
In Pembroke, items can be dropped off at City Hall until 5 p.m. Monday, and in Richmond Hill, items can be left at City Hall or the police station until 5 p.m. Tuesday. Cash donations can be made at City Hall in Pembroke and at the Planning and Zoning Office in Richmond Hill.

Family night
G.W. Carver Elementary School will hold its first Family Night with 32 Degrees Frozen Yogurt from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Dec. 8.
32 Degrees will donate 20 percent of the sales, including the sale of gift cards, during the two four-hour events to Carver. Fourth-grade Family Night is set for 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, and fifth-grade Family Night is set for 4-8 p.m. Dec. 8.

Christmas concert
The Richmond Hill High School Marching Band, with special guests the Richmond Hill Middle School Wildcat Winds, will perform a Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 9 at the pavilion in J.F. Gregory Park.
Attendees should bring their own chairs or blankets.

Post party
American Legion Post 164 and the Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Christmas party at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Post Home on Hwy. 280 west in Pembroke. 
All active-duty members and their families who reside in Pembroke, Brooklet, Groveland or Ellabell are invited to attend. All members are asked to bring a covered dish, desert, etc. Meats, tea, coffee and bread will be provided by the post.

Christmas parade
The 28th annual Pembroke Christmas parade and festival is from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Dec. 10 downtown.
Arts, crafts and food booths open at 9 a.m. and the parade begins at 11 a.m. and will travel down Hwy. 280. There will be live entertainment and kids activities all day and a car and motorcycle show. There is no admission to the event.

Wreath ceremony
The fifth annual Wreaths for Warriors Walk ceremony will be at noon Dec. 10 at Cottrell Field on Fort Stewart.
The ceremony honors the fallen heroes of the 3rd Infantry Division and their families. There are currently 439 trees planted at Warriors Walk, and the goal is to place a wreath at the base of each tree.
Wreaths are $15 and can be sponsored by making checks out to Wreaths for Warriors Walk and mail in c/o Anthony Justi, P.O. Box 3533, Fort Stewart, Ga. 31315. Contributions can also be made via PayPal at www.w4ww.org or www.facebook.com/wreaths4warriorswalk.

Club fundraiser
The Pembroke Garden Club is having a winter raffle. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5 and are available from club members.
The grand prize is a garden dump cart with accessories. The second prize is a 30-inch fire pit with a poker, and the third prize is a garden tub full of accessories.
The drawing is Jan. 19 at Dixie Harn Community Center, 91 Lanier St., but the winner does not need to be present to win.

Winter Muster
Fort McAllister will hold its Winter Muster and Battle from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at the historic state park on Fort McAllister Road.
Spend the day at the fort as Union and Confederate forces prepare for the climactic battle of Sherman’s March to the Sea. Guests will be able to witness the final assault battle for control of the fort at 5 p.m.
The cost for adults is $6.50 and for children is $3.75.
