Columbus State
Monica James of Pembroke recently graduated from Columbus State University with a Master of Education degree in health and physical education following the fall 2013 semester.

Presidents' lists
Columbus State
Kayla Taylor of Richmond Hill earned a place on Columbus State University’s president’s list for the 2013 fall semester.
Taylor made the list for achieving a semester grade-point average of at least 3.80. The president’s list represents the pinnacle of academic achievement at Columbus State.

Texas Lutheran
David M. Soop of Richmond Hill was recently named to the president’s list at Texas Lutheran University for the 2013 fall semester.
To be named to the president’s list, a student must have a 4.0 while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.  

U. of North Georgia
Caitlin Marie Alia and David Alcott LaCombe, both of Richmond Hill, were named to the University of North Georgia president’s list for fall semester 2013.
To make the president’s list, a student must achieve a 4.0 grade-point average with no grade lower than a B and carry 12 or more credit hours in one semester.

William Carey U.
Tyler Marie Herring of Richmond Hill has been named to the 2013 fall trimester president’s list at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Miss.
President’s list members have a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.

Deans' lists
Georgia Southern
Georgia Southern University recently recognized 2,646 students for excellence in academics on the 2013 fall semester dean’s list.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade-point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester. The following area students achieved this accomplishment:
