I spoke to RHHS head coach Thomas Hill on Saturday, April 20th and he commented:

"One of our goals is to host a playoff series.. we’ve checked that box. The next goal is to win one. Grayson is a great club with established success. We’re going to need to be disciplined to every detail in the series. It’s hard to beat playoff baseball. We need our community to fill the stands on Thursday.”

I also contacted Grayson HS head coach Jed Hixson, and he also commented on Saturday:

"We’ve had an up and down year but have been playing better of late and are happy to be back in the state playoffs.  We always talk about there being three seasons, the pre-region, region, and the playoff season.  When you get to this juncture of the year you’re 0-0 and you’re looking to play the game well and find a way to advance.  Looking forward to a fun series."
