Toombs County beat Bryan County 41-7 on Friday night in Pembroke in a Region 2-AA football game.
Bryan County led 7-6 at the end of the first period after on a 60-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Stewart to Damaurius Brewer late in the first quarter and the extra point by Jack Perry, but the Bulldogs scored 28 points in the second quarter to put the game out of reach.
The loss drops BCHS to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in 2-AA. Toombs County improved to 5-2 and 3-0 in the region.
The Redskins hit the road next week to take on Swainsboro.
