Kat Stigall of Richmond Hill, a freshman at Piedmont College, was one of several swimmers to perform well at the Georgia Small College Championship meet.
The Piedmont women didn't have a swimmer win more than one individual event, but they did secure 11 second place finishes to complement their five overall event wins to set the stage for their event-winning performance.
Stigall took the 100-yard backstroke event by less than a second over teammate Kayla Lathon of Villa Rica, Georgia.
