Georgia Game Changers Running Company’s third annual Red Hot Chili Pepper 5K raised nearly $3,000 for the Thornwell Home for Children, a ministry that provides homes for abused or neglected children in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina.

The 5K, held July 25 in conjunction with the grand opening of the Georgia Game Changers Health and Fitness Complex, had 143 runners of all ages. Funds were raised from the entry fees and from top sponsors Optim Orthopedics, Topo Athletic, Monsoon Sports Group/Wayne Raines, Hale Tea Company and Coastal Confections.
