An unnamed Ellabell resident won $15,000 on Aug. 23 playing the game Fishing for Gold: On Tour, according to Georgia Lottery officials.

A Georgia Lottery player hit the jackpot for $306,989 in the Aug. 22 Fantasy 5 drawing. The lucky ticket was purchased at Food Mart D, 5005 Snapfinger Wood Drive in Decatur and matched all five winning numbers, which were 11-19-33-40-41.
In addition to the Ellabell resident, several players also won prizes playing Diggi Games over the weekend on the Georgia Lottery mobile app and website:

• An Ellenwood resident won $286,192 playing Wolf Ridge on Aug. 21
• A player in Evans won $108,318 playing Georgia Jackpot Bankroll on Aug. 22
• A resident of McDonough won $26,471 playing Max Treasure’s Ancient Adventures on Aug. 21
• A Roswell player won $20,000 playing Fishing for Gold: On Tour on Aug. 23

As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Fantasy 5 and Diggi Games benefit education in the state of Georgia.
