The Richmond Hill Wildcat baseball team (16-11, 8-4, 2nd place in Region 1A, GHSA Class 7A) is well represented on this year's 2024 All-Region 1A team. Six members were 1st team, and three members made 2nd team.
Seniors Alex Harwood, Bryce Hendricks, and Gavin Martin, along with junior Lee Johnson, and sophomores Grant Wagner and Noah Stone, were awarded 1st Team All-Region honors. Seniors Connor Gilkey and Victor Villella, along with junior Aiden Pluff, were awarded 2nd Team honors.
1st Team ALL-Region 1A Awards
First baseman Alex Harwood has a batting average of .312. He has 25 hits, has driven in 19 runs, and is tied with Wagner in leading the team with 14 BB. Harwood leads the team with 21 singles, and has played in all 27 games this year. Harwood also has a fielding percentage of .935.
Pitcher/Left fielder Bryce Hendricks leads the team in several, if not all, pitching categories. He leads the team with a W-L record of 6-3, leads with the lowest ERA of 2.696, has pitched 49.1 innings, and has 58 strikeouts. Hendricks also has a .328 BA, with 22 H, 4 2B, 2 3B, and 6 SB.

Martin has also pitched 2.0 innings in relief, SO 3, has not given up a hit, and his ERA is 0.00. Martin has also played in all 27 games.
