Three Richmond Hill High School seniors used the first day of the early football signing period Wednesday to commit to playing at the collegiate level.

Aaron Bedgood signed to play football at Coastal Carolina University, Lachlan Holt at West Point Academy, and Matt Daniel at West Virginia University. The three appeared alongside their parents and coaches during a signing ceremony filled with students and others at Richmond Hill High School.

The three spoke briefly, thanking their families, coaches, teachers, teammates, and God, for helping them get to this point in life.

Athletic Director Mickey Bayens introduced the trio, saying it is "a blessing" to see the hard work put in by their student scholar athletes.

Head football coach Matt LeZotte said these signings reflect the positive direction the football program is headed. "We challenged them for four years to 'Build the Hill' and establish a legacy."

To see who else has signed to play college football locally, we've provided links to the football signing sections for Georgia Southern University, University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Clemson, University of Florida, and Florida State.
