Wildcats to stay in Class AAAAA, but region gets tougher

Call it a mixed blessing. 

Richmond Hill High School got its wish when the Georgia High School Association's reclassification committee assigned schools to regions Tuesday. The Wildcats will stay in Class AAAAA for the next two years. But Region 3-AAAAA just got a lot tougher, with Statesboro, Brunswick, South Effingham and Coffee joining the fun.

Camden County also will be a member of a new Region 3-AAAAA in all sports but football. Here's a breakdown from GHSA.net.
