Wildcats to face Statesboro in Region 2-AAAA finals

In its first season in Class AAAA, Richmond Hill is making some noise.

Richmond Hill beat Greenbrier 64-53 in the Region 2-AAAA semifinals Friday in Guyton. Richmond Hill beat Greenbrier 64-53 in the Region 2-AAAA semifinals Friday night in Guyton.

Brandon Jordan had 16 points and Lorenza Ross added 14 for Richmond Hill, which improved to 20-8 overall.

The win propels Richmond Hill into tonight’s title game against traditional Class AAAA power Statesboro. The game is in Guyton at South Effingham High School. Tipoff is at 8 p.m.
