Statesboro ends Lady Wildcats season

Top seed Statesboro beat Richmond Hill High School 58-43 Wednesday night in the second round of the Region 2-AAAA girls basketball playoffs at South Effingham High School.

The Lady Wildcats end their season at 12-14.

The Wildcast play Effingham County tonight at 8 p.m.. after they beat Evans 68-49 on Tuesday. Vernon Ross had 16 points and 14 rebounds in that contest. Lorenza Ross added 15 points, Alex Cruz had 13 points and Brandon Jordan finished with 10 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for Richmond Hill.
