Richmond Hill tennis teams earn top 10 finishes

The 12U and 14U junior teams from the Richmond Hill Area Tennis Association both earned top-10 finishes at the United States Tennis Association's junior tennis championships, held July 29-31 in Macon.
The 12U team finished second in its age group while the 14U team placed fourth in its division.
The RHATA teams advanced to the state competition by winning match play in the Savannah Area Tennis Association in the spring.
USA Team Tennis is a national program developed by USTA to provide a fun team atmosphere for kids of all skill levels to get involved in the game of tennis.
Teams are comprised of at least three boys and three girls who compete in a mixture of boys and girls singles, boys and girls doubles, and mixed doubles. It is open to children ages 5-18. The RHATA 12U and 14U teams are coached by Linda Sun.
