RHMS football rolls on homecoming
RHMS13

Richmond Hill Middle School had to wait for its homecoming, but the football team didn’t wait long to take control of the game.

The RHMS homecoming was postponed due to Hurricane Matthew, so it was combined with the first playoff game, a 41-12 win Monday over Langston Chapel played at Richmond Hill High School.

The Wildcats returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and never looked back, keeping their undefeated season in tact after jumping out to a 34-6 halftime lead.

The homecoming court was announced at the half as cheerleaders and the band kept a large crowd of parents, family and students engaged throughout the game.

Britton Williams and Taylor Killion were named homecoming king and queen, respectively.

The Wildcats next face the winner of the Southeast Bulloch/Burke game at 5 p.m. Oct. 26 at RHHS.
