The North Bryan Crushers are headed to the 10U Georgia Recreation and Parks live pitch state tournament after winning its district championship.

The team defeated Long County 10-5, Brantley County 8-6 and Pierce County 16-4 in pool play, then beat Brantley County again, 11-3, in the finals after Brantley had won the loser’s bracket.

Team members are: Tanner Ennis, Trevor Lanier, Jayden White, Dalton Dickerson, Ethan Trombly, Sean Kelly Hill, Tucker Edwards, Jonathan (John John) Good, Konner Leggett and Tyler Penrose. They are coached by Tony Leggett and Brandon Edwards.

In district play, Konnor Leggett his .778 with two doubles, three home runs and 10 RBI, while Tanner Ennis hit .714 with a home run and two RBI. Trevor Lanier hit .625 and Tyler Penrose hit .615 with a home run. Tucker Edwards added two home runs and six RBI and Jayden White also picked up a home run.

Tanner Ennis recorded three wins on the mound and Konner Leggett had one while Jayden Smith recorded three saves.

The state tournament begins July 14 in Jeff Davis County.
