SAVANNAH -- Bryan County defeated Savannah Christian, 7-4, in a Region 3-A softball game Thursday at Grainger Field.

Bryan County (15-6, 8-1) avenged a 4-1 loss to Savannah Christian (14-6, 8-1) on Aug. 25 to spoil the Raiders' Senior Day.

Becca Strickland was 3-for-4 and Tiffany Howard was 2-for-4 for the Redskins. Howard (12-3) earned the win, striking out six batters.

Savannah Christian starter Brooke Eichenlaub (13-4) earned the loss. Eichenlaub, Jordie Smith and Madison Young each were 2-for-4 for the Raiders.
