The unbeaten Bryan County High School girls’ basketball team beat Claxton 65-30 on Saturday in Pembroke.

The Lady Redskins (11-0) also moved up to No. 4 in the latest Class AA poll, “so we must continue to play our best basketball every night,” coach Mario Mincey said.

Three players scored in double figures for BCHS, led by Alisha Fabin’s 12 points. Olanna Rawls added 11 points while Jay Black had 11 points and 11 rebounds

The Lady Redskins also got seven points form Shelby Gunn and Alation Eason chipped in six points.

“I think we did a good job on defense in the second half,” Mincey said. “I loved how we moved the ball  and took good quality shots as a team. It was also nice to see some of our younger players get in and play well.”

The Lady Redskins play host to Emmanuel County Institute Thursday at 6 p.m.
