On April 12th, Richmond Hill Middle School student Makayla Champion placed 4th in the Junior Angler Division at Georgia Bass Nation, hosted at West Point Lake, Georgia. This is the second time in a row that Champion has had a Top 5 finish. Her angling partner was Jordan Behringer, another RHMS student.

With this finish, both girls qualify for a state championship that will be held on June 13th and June 14th at Clarks Hill Lake.
