As Powerball continues to climb, Georgia Lottery players are winning big. Monday’s Powerball jackpot has jumped to an estimated $748 million with a $325.1 million cash option.
Five Georgia Lottery players won $50,000 prizes in the Aug. 1 Powerball drawing by matching four of the five white-ball numbers plus the Powerball.
The winning tickets were purchased at: CITGO Food Mart, 5225 Campbellton Road SW, Atlanta; Shell Food Mart, 2898 Chamblee Tucker Road, Atlanta; Sunoco Food Mart, 4551 Brownsville Road, Powder Springs; Richmond Hill Country Store, 18482 Highway 144, Richmond Hill; and on the Georgia Lottery mobile website by a player in Savannah.
Winning numbers for the Aug. 1 Powerball drawing were 6, 17, 27, 48, 50 and the Powerball was 5. The Power Play was 3X.
One player matched all five numbers in the July 29 Fantasy 5 drawing, winning $263,974. The jackpot ticket was purchased at Cutie Gas and Grocery, 6849 S. Chestatee St., Dahlonega.
Winning numbers for the July 29 Fantasy 5 drawing were 14, 23, 37, 39, 41.
Someone won $30,000 in the July 28 Mega Millions drawing by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Mega Ball with a built-in 3X multiplier. Gulf Food Mart, located at 3046 Lawrenceville Highway in Lawrenceville, sold the lucky ticket.
Two lucky players won $10,000 each in recent Georgia FIVE drawings by matching all winning numbers in exact order. One $10,000 ticket was purchased at Fine Fair Food Mart, 3741 Napier Ave. in Macon for the July 30 midday drawing with winning numbers 1, 7, 2, 2, 2. The second $10,000 ticket was sold at Quick Pick Mart 2, 2075 Rockbridge Road SW in Stone Mountain for the Aug. 2 midday drawing with winning numbers 1, 5, 4, 0, 0.
Additionally, someone won $7,500 in the July 30 Millionaire for Life drawing, matching four of five white balls plus the Millionaire Ball. Chevron Pump N Go, located at 2 Magnolia Blvd. in Port Wentworth, sold the winning ticket.
