Pray for each other
pastor corner

In Ephesians 6:18, the Apostle Paul encourages Christians to “keep on praying for all the Lord’s people”. In other words pray for each other.

He then goes on to say in the next verses, “Pray also for me” with some specifics but the main idea is that Paul was solicitating prayer.

The truth is that each one of us should be praying for others but the fact remains that we as individuals need someone praying for us. I will admit that I not only appreciate others praying for me but I need it. If you run out of things to pray about then I am giving you someone to add. There are days that I get down like everyone else. There are days where it seems our enemy, the devil, is working overtime to tempt me.

There are days I don’t feel physically strong. There are days when I struggle more than others.

In his latter days here on earth when I called my dad on the phone, he would always end up with these words, “You pray for me and I’ll pray for you”. This is the same advice given to us by Paul, so let’s make it an everyday practice and I am convinced we serve a God who hears and answers our prayers.
